AIDS (HOPWA). U.S. HUD requires entitlement cities, like the City of Miami, that receive funds under Its grant programs to prepare a consolidated five year plan, which details proposed
activities to maximize the benefits of federal funding.
Upon City Commission opprnya, the Consolidated Plan will be available lor public review and conenerd for 30 days., The review and comment period begins on Monday. June 14, 2004 and
ends Tuesday, July 13, 2004.
Draft copies of the 2004-2009 Consolidated Plan will be available et two City of Miami Department of Commun4 Development locations', 444 SW 2nd Avenue, 2nd Floor, Miami Merida 33130
Of 1313 NW 36th Street, 2nd Roc, Miami Florida 33142. The drafts will also be available at the City of Muni NET offices, and Public Ubraries located within the City Limits,
In addition. the City of Miami Department ol Community Development has eliminated its existing Community Revitalization Districts as pat of its Corhaolldeted Plan for 2034-2009 ghee. new
boundaries now referred to as Neighborhood Developme i Zones (NDZs) will also be available for public review end comment). The new NDZz will replace the previously existing CRDs and Ibl
boundaries.
The proposed NDZa integrate the "model block", concept which wit serve as target areas for affordable housing ent ectivitlee. The model block boundariee, witch reside within the
new NDT boundaries, will also be available la a public review d comment at the two Community Development Iccatanshied above.
