Federal regulations governing CDBG and other HUI) programs require that a participating jurisdiction provide citizens with reasonable notice al and an opportunity to comment on any
amendments to funding of HUD programs. In addition, the public is advised of the proposed amendments) to the funding of the City prograned indicated below.

Community Development Development Block Gran (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME); Emergency Shelter GrVI )ESG) and housing Opporlurdties for Paws with
AIDS (HOPWA), U,S. HUD requires entitlement cities, like the City of Miami, dal receive funds under Nor grant programs to prepare a consolidated five year plan, which details proposed
activities to madmize the benefits of lederal funding.
Upon City Commission approval, the Consolidated Plan will be available for public review and comment for 30 days. The review and comment period begins on Monday. June 14, 2004 and
ends Tuesday, July 13,2004..
Draft copies of the 2004.2009 Consolidated Plan will be available at two City of Miami Department of Community Development locations: 444 SW 2nd Avenue, 2nd Floor, Miami Florida 33130
or 1313 NW 36th Street, 2nd Ras, Miami Florida 33142. The drafts will oleo be available at the City o1 Miami NET offices, and Public Libreries located within the CNy Units

The proposed ND2s integrate the "modal block", concept which wit serve es target areas for affordable housing development activities. The model block boundaries, which reside within the
new NOZ boundaries, will also be available for public review and comment at the two Community Development locations listed above.
