A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ESTABLISHING A
COMMITTEE TO REVIEW THE HISTORY AND TRENDS AND TO MAKE
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR A PLAN TO IMPLEMENT STATE LAW RELATED TO
CLUC 90 OF COUNTY DELINQUENT TAX LAND IN THE CITY OF MIAMI;
DESIGNATING THE CHAIRPERSON APPOINTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION;
FURTHER DESIGNATING MEMBERS CONSISTING OF A REPRESENTATIVE
APPOINTED BY THE CITY OF MIAMI ("CITY") DEPARTMENTS OF ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT, PLANNING AND ZONING, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT,
THE CITY ATTORNEY, A REPRESENTATIVE FROM THE AUDITOR GENERAL'S
OFFICE AND ANY OTHER REPRESENTATIVE THAT THE CITY MANAGER
DEEMS APPROPRIATE; DIRECTING THE COMMITTEE TO PRESENTA
REPORT OF ITS FINDINGS TO THE CITY COMMISSION AT ITS MEETING OF
JUNE 10, 2004.
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to create and establish a committee to review county
tax delinquent land;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. A committee is established to review the history and trends and to recommend a
plan to fully implement the provision of State Law related to CLUC 90 of County Delinquent Tax
Land.
Section 2. The committee shall consist of a Chair appointed by the City of Miami Commission,
and members appointed by the City of Miami Departments of Economic Development, Planning
and Zoning, Community Development, the City Attorney, a representative from the Auditor
General's Office and any other representative the City Manager deems appropriate.
Section 3. The committee is directed to present a report of its findings to the City Commission
at its meeting of June 10, 2004.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature
of the Mayor.{1}

{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall
become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
