THAT CERTAIN MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI
AND
RAFAEL HERNANDEZ HOUSING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORP.
This Amendment to that certain Memorandum of Agreement between the City of
Miami, a municipal corporation of the State of Florida ("City") and Rafael Hernandez
Housing and Economic Development Corp. ("Subrecipient') dated October 3, 2003 (the
"Agreement") is entered into this day of , 2004.
RECITAL
WHEREAS, the City and Sub -recipient, have heretofore entered into the
Agreement which sets forth the terms and conditions pursuant to which the City provided
Subrecipient the sum of one hundred twenty three thousand forty five dollars ($123,045) to
carry out Economic Development activities as authorized by the City Commission through
Resolution No. 03-710; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. passed and adopted by the
Commission on May 27, 2004, Subrecipient was deobligated in funding in the amount of
sixty five thousand dollars ($65,000) the ("Reduction in Funds"), to amend the Work
Program to be performed through September 30, 2004; and
WHEREAS, all the funds are subject to the same terms and conditions contained
in the Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing, the City and
Subrecipient hereby agree to amend the Agreement as follows:
1. Section 4.1 of this Agreement is amended to provide that the maximum compensation for
services during the term of this Agreement is fifty eight thousand forty five dollars
($58,045).
2. Exhibit B of the Memorandum of Agreement (Work Program) is amended to the new
Exhibit B attached to this Agreement.
3. Exhibit C of the Memorandum of Agreement (Budget) is amended to the new Exhibit
C attached to this Agreement.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, the City and Subrecipient have caused this instrument to be
executed by their respective officials as of the date of the first above written.
