Pavement Corporation, a company located at 11401 SW 40 Street, Suite 335, Miami, Florida 33165, whose principal is Jose M. Alvarez, president, for the project entitled "Bryan Park Right -of -Way Improvements, B-30303", that was received on April 13, 2004 in the amount of $125,676.00 total bid, and further authorizing the City Manager to enter into a contract on behalf of the City. BACKGROUND Amount of Total Bid: $ 125,676.00 % of Cost Estimate: 82.13% Const. Cost Estimate: $ 153,020.00 Construction Time: 100 Calendar Days Source of Funds: Project Nos. 341206 and 311714, Annual Appropriations Ordinance, as amended. Minority Representation: 10 Contractors picked up specs ( 7 Hispanic, 1 Black, 0 Female, 2 N/A) 5 Contractors submitted hid ( 4 Hispanic, 0 Black, 0 Female, 1 N/ A) Public Hearings/Notices: No Discussion: The Departments of Capital Improvements and Purchasing have evaluated the bids received on April 13th, 2004, and determined that the lowest responsible and responsive bid, in the amount of $ 125,676.00 is from T. j. Pavement Corporation. Funds are available to cover the contract cost, and for such incidental items as postage, blueprinting, advertising, reproduction costs, testing, etc. FISCAL IMPACT: None/ Budgeted Item JA/AC�'.%MHC C/ BO/FMP
