Kemp Deputy Chief of Administration c.D. area EMS Chief Emergency Response Division DATE : February 7, 2002 SUBJECT : Fire EMS Equipment Donations REFERENCES: ENCLOSURES: FILE : The City of Miami Department of Fire Rescue has equipment (see table below) that is no longer being used in the fleld or in a support capacity. The equipment is not serviceable by the manufacturer and is not within the framework of the maintenance agreement. Therefore, donating the equipment to organizations that can use the equipment may be beneficial and improve the care in other communities. Chief, the following is the info regarding the request for donations The recipient parties: Asociacion Bomberos 'Vot cntarfos nionte 9flarix (a v,tuntaar fu efrghting Organization) of The Republic of Argentina. The Rome Foundation (providing support to hospitals in Haiti) The Fellowship of Christian Firefighters Upon approval the following listed equipment will be disbursed in whole or in part to any one or all the aforementioned organizations.
