A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
ACCEPTING BIDS FROM VARIOUS VENDORS, AS LISTED ON "ATTACHMENT
A," ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED, FOR THE PURCHASE OF PAPER
PRODUCTS AND PLASTICS, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
$30,000, FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PURCHASING, TO BE UTILIZED
CITYWIDE, ON AN AS -NEEDED CONTRACT BASIS, FORATWO-YEAR
PERIOD, WITH THE OPTION TO RENEW FOR TWO ADDITIONAL ONE-YEAR
PERIODS; ALLOCATING FUNDS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
$30,000, FROM CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT ACCOUNTS, SPECIAL
REVENUE FUNDS, AND/OR CURRENT FISCAL YEAR (2003-2004)
OPERATING BUDGETS OF VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES, AS
MAY BE ADJUSTED FROM TIME TO TIME BY THE CITY COMMISSION IN THE
ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS/CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS ORDINANCES, OR AS
OTHERWISE ADJUSTED AS PERMITTED BY LAW.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bids received from Various Vendors, as listed in "Attachment A," attached and
incorporated, for the purchase of paper products and plastics, in an amount not to exceed
$30,000, for the Department of Purchasing, to be used Citywide, on an as -needed contract basis,
is accepted, for a two-year period, with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods,
with funds allocated from Capital Improvements Project accounts, Special Revenue funds, and/or
current Fiscal Year (2003-2004) operating budgets of various departments and agencies, as may
be adjusted from time to time by the City Commission in the Annual Appropriations/Capital
Improvements Ordinances, or as otherwise adjusted as permitted by law.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature
of the Mayor.{1}
Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall
become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
