Consideration of amending Ordinance No. 11000, of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami, Florida, by amending Article 9, General and Supplementary Regulations, in order to amend Section 910. Unity of title and covenant agreements, in order to allow covenants in -lieu of unity of title in R-3 residential zoning districts. Approval. Covenants in lieu of unity of title agreements are used in major projects where it is anticipated that there may be more than one owner. It is a tool utilized by the city to ensure that zoning requirements continue to be met, even in cases with multiple owners. This amendment is in order to modify provisions related to covenants in lieu of unity of title agreements to allow for acceptance in the R- 3 zoning district. Recommended approval to VOTE: 6-0 City Commission.
