HEPB-2003-88 A RESOLUTION OF THE HISTORIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL PRESERVATION BOARD ("HEP BOARD") OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, APPROVING, SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS, A CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS FOR GROUND DISTURBING ACTIVITY INVOLVING NEW CONSTRUCTION AT DUPONT PLAZA, LOCATED AT 300 BISCAYNE BOULEVARD WAY, WITHIN AN ARCHEOLOGICAL CONSERVATION AREA, AFTER FINDING THAT THE PROPOSED ARCHEOLOGICAL MANAGEMENT PLAN IS CONSISTENT WITH THE GUIDELINES FOR GROUND DISTURBING ACTIVITY SET FORTH IN CHAPTER 23 OF THE MIAMI CITY CODE. 1. Archeological monitoring shall be provided in accordance with recommendations set forth in the archeological management plan submitted by Robert S. Carr, dated August 2003. 2. Further, in the event of a significant discovery, the developer shall stop all construction activities at that location and the immediate vicinity of the discovery and contact the county archeologist, relevant agencies, and the City of Miami Preservation Officer within 48 hours. The developer shall then submit an action plan to the Board that may include preservation and/or mitigation of the discovery site. PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 16TH DAY OF DECEMBER, 2003.
