HomeMy WebLinkAboutpre. legislationCity of Miami Legislation Resolution City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.cl.miaml.fl.us File Number: 04-00 Final Action Date: A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENTS(S), AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A PROGRAMMATIC AGREEMENT, IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE ATTACHED FORM, WITH THE FLORIDA STATE HISTORIC PRESERVATION OFFICE, THE ADVISORY COUNCIL ON HISTORIC PRESERVATION AND ANY OTHER AGENCY, AS REQUIRED, TO EXPEDITE THE CITY'S FULFILLMENT OF ITS HISTORIC PRESERVATION RESPONSIBILITIES AS A RECIPIENT AND ADMINISTRATOR OF FEDERAL FUNDS UNDER SECTION 106 OF THE NATIONAL HISTORIC PRESERVATION ACT. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The City Manager is authorized and directed to enter into a Programmatic Agreement with the Florida State Historic Preservation Office, the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation and any other agency, as required, to expedite the City of Miami's fulfillment of its historic preservation responsibilities as a recipient and administrator of Federal funds under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.
