Proposal for Gibson Park Football Field Dear: Mr. Wexler: The City of Miami's Parks \and Recreation Department is in support of the aforementioned proposal submitted by BAME. We currently have approximately $62,500 in matching funds committed to capital improvements for Gibson Park. During this past year we have completed approximately $50,000 worth of improvements to the football field. This park is maintained by our department, and we will continue to provide staff and resources for recreation programs and facility maintenance. BAME Development Corporation of South Florida, Inc. has a proven track record, and with their experience. in housing construction and development, this project should be a success. We are committed to work together with them in developing a first class football facility for the enjoyment of our inner-city youth. Your consideration of BAME's proposal is greatly appreciated.
