Title and brief description of legislation or attached ordinance/resolution: Ordinance accepting a cash
donation in the amount of $47,701.30 from the Dade Amateur Golf Association, and authorizing the City Manager
to accept said donation and to execute the necessary documents for the donation will be used as a match to an ADA
Grant from Miami -Dade County to fund a summer camp for disabled persons as well as towards the purchase of a
wheelchair -accessible bus.

Comments: The donation will be matched to the ADA Grant from Miami -Dade County and towards the purchase of
a new ADA approved wheelchair -accessible bus and thje implementation of a summer camp for children with
disabilities. All costs for the summer camp and bus purchase have been covered by the grant. The wheelchair -
accessible bus will be maintained by the Fleet Management Section of the City of Miami Department of Municipal
Services.
