Thompson, President, for 'LAWRENCE STORMWATER PUMP STATION UPGRADES (3RD BIDDING), B-5650B, received on March 4, 2004 in the amount of $202,047 Total Bid; authorizing the City Manager to enter into a contract on behalf of the City. WORK HISTORY: NO PREVIOUS WORK WITH THE CITY OF MIAMI IN THE LAST 6 YEARS BACKGROUND: Amount of Total Bid: $ 202,047 % of Cost Estimate: 161.4% Upgrades. Cost Estimate: $ 125,000 Construction Time: 100 Working Days Estimated N.T.P. Date: June 1, 2004 Source of Funds: Capital Improvement Account No. 352216. Minority Representation: 12 Contractors picked up specs (3 Hispanic, 2 Black, 1 Female) 4 Contractors submitted bid (2 Hispanic, 0 Black, 0 Female) Public HearingslNotices: No Discussion: The Department of Public Works has evaluated the bids received on March 4, 2004, and determined that the lowest responsible and responsive bid, in the amount of $202,047, is from NCI Construction Corporation, a Hispanic -Minority controlled Corporation.
