On January 8, 2004, the City Commission adopted Resolution 04-0010 approving the procurement
of professional consulting services for management skills from HDR Engineering Inc: These services
were purchased utilizing an existing State of Florida Contract No. 973-001-00-1, Pursuant to the
Resolution, the administration was allowed to purchase said services in an amount not to exceed $1
million.
In recognition of the fact that municipal capital programs are cyclical by nature and that adding City
staff is not in the Long --term interests of the City, the administration is requesting an increase to the
contract of HDR Engineering, Inc, to advance the delivery of the City's $568 million Capital
