NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on
March 25, 2004, at 9:00 a.m., in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall, 3500 Pan
American Drive, Miami, Florida:
A Resolution of the Miami City Commission, authorizing the City
Manager to execute a Grant of Easement on City -owned property between
Southwest 5th Street and Southwest 6th Street adjacent to Jose Marti Park,
Miami, Florida, in a form acceptable to the City Attorney, to Florida
Power & Light Company, a Florida Corporation ("FPL"), as depicted in
Exhibits "A", "B", "C", and "D" for a 204.6 square foot perpetual non-
exclusive easement on the property for the construction, operation and
maintenance of overhead and underground electric utility facilities to
service City of Miami residents and the general public (including wires,
poles, guys, cables, conduits and appurtenant equipment), with the right to
reconstruct, improve, add to, enlarge, change the voltage, as well as, the
size of and remove such facilities or any of them within the easement.
All interested persons are invited to appear and may be heard concerning these items.
Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to
any matter considered at this hearing, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of
the proceedings is made, including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal
may be based.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special
accommodations to participate in this proceeding may contact the Office of the City
