HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-04-0115City of Miami Legislation Resolution: R-04-0115 City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 04-00097 Final Action Date: 2/26/2004 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ADOPTING A PLANNING CALENDAR FOR THE 30TH YEAR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM AND OTHER PROGRAMS FUNDED THROUGH THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT. WHEREAS, the Administration has proposed a planning calendar for the 30th Year Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") program and other programs funded through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD"); NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The Planning Calendar for the 30th Year CDBG program and other programs funded through HUD, is adopted as follows: January 13-February 4, 2004 including Saturdays At least one Public Hearing in each of the five Commission Districts, and any other supplemental hearings required (contingent upon the schedules of each City Commissioner) (Note: There is a 10-day public notice requirement for each Public Hearing) February 26, 2004 Calendar approved by City Commission March 11, 2003 Policy Decision by City Commission March 31, 2004 30th Year Request for Proposals Available April 30, 2004 Deadline for submission of responses to Request for Proposals (Note: Proposals submitted after the due date will not be accepted) To Be Determined Special City Commission Meeting allocating 30th Year Funds must meet on or before July 8, 2004 to allow the preparation of the Annual Action Plan and time for the 30-day public comment period prior to the August 13, 2004 submission deadline for U.S. HUD) August 13, 2004 Submission of 30th Year Annual Action Plan to U.S. HUD City of Miami Page 1 of 2 File Id: 04-00097 (Version: 1) Printed On: 8/31/2016 File Number: 04-00097 Enactment Number: R-04-0115 October 1, 2004 Commencement of 30th Year Activities Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor{1}. Footnotes: {1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten (10) calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
