Title and brief description of legislation or attached ordinance/resolution: A resolution of the Miami City
Commission accepting the recommendation of the City Manager to approve the findings of the evaluation
committee and authorize the city to negotiate and execute a professional services agreement with the top -ranked
form to provide consulting services for preparation of an evaluation and appraisal report on the Miami
Comprehensive Neighborhood Plan, pursuant to RFP 02-03-245: further stipulating that should negotiations with the
top -ranked firm fail, the city negotiate with the second -ranked firm until a contract is successfully negotiated: at an
estimated cost not to exceed $250,000.00 for two years, with the option to extend for one additional year: allocating
funds therefor in the amount of $150,000.00 from Planning and Zoning Account No. 850101 and the amount of
$100,000.00 from CIP No. 341330 Transportation Contribution to CIP, Transit-Intermodal Planning Component,
B-71203.
