ITEM: Computer Consulting Services
DEPARTMENT: ITD/Various City Departments
TYPE OF PURCHASE: Contract
REASON: The Department of Information Technology has a
need to acquire information technology project
management services, system integration services,
computer programming services, systems analysis
services, data base management services, technical
support services, and other technical consulting
services.
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that award is made to Various
Vendors for the acquisition of information
technology project management services, system
integration services, computer programming
services, systems analysis services, data base
management services, technical support services,
and other technical consulting services from IT
Consultant Service vendors, awarded under various
State of Florida contracts as listed on the
attachment, on an as needed basis, subject to any
extensions, renewals, or replacement contracts,
thereto by the State of Florida, for the Department
of Information Technology, at an annual amount not
to exceed $900,000; allocating funds therefor from
ITD Strategic Funds, CIP Accounts, or the
Operating Budgets of the various user departments
and agencies for the current Fiscal Year (FY 2003-
2004), and from the Operating Budgets of Various
Departments, CIP Accounts, or IT strategic funds as
may be adjusted from time to time by the City
Commission in the Annual Appropriations/Capital
Improvements Ordinances, or as otherwise adjusted
as permitted by law for subsequent fiscal years
without the need for any further City Commission
authorization.
