A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION
DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXPEDITE THE
LAND ACQUISITION PROCESS FOR PROJECTS
APPROVED IN THE $255' MILLION HOMELAND
DEFENSE/NEIGHBORHOOD IMPROVEMENT BOND ISSUE;
AND -AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE
AND EXECUTE AGREEMENTS, IN A FORM ACCEPTABLE
TO THE CITY ATTORNEY, WITH LAND ACQUISITION
SPECIALISTS, AS APPLICABLE. '
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager is directed to expedite the
land acquisition process for projects approved in the $255
million Homeland Defense/Neighborhood Improvement bond issue.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized=' to negotiate
and execute agreements., in a form acceptable to the City
Attorney, with land acquisition specialists, as applicable.
The he_ein authorization is further subject to compliance with all
requirements that may be unposed by the City Attorney, including but not
limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter and Code
provisions.

Resolution shall become effective
