Ordinance No. 12482, adopted January 22, 2004, contains a scrivener's error as the
executed Ordinance does not reflect any underscoring of the language that was being added
to Ordinance No. 11000, the zoning ordinance of the City of Miami.
The title of the ordinance was properly advertised and proper notice to adjacent
property owners was provided. Unfortunately, when the Office of Hearing Boards
transferred the document to the new Legistar system the underscoring was omitted.
The attachment, which is a substitute original ordinance to replace the document you
presently possess as Ordinance No. 12482, has been revised to include the necessary
underscoring. The document found in Legistar has also been corrected.
After the correct document has been executed, please forward a copy to this Office
and to Ana Gelabert-Sanchez, Director, Planning and Zoning. This memorandum should be
attached to Ordinance No. 12482, so that any concern regarding the substitution of said
Ordinance is clarified.
