Consideration of Amending Chapter 4, Section 4-11 to
modify provisions related to notice within entertainment
districts.
Approval.
Chapter 4, Section 4-11 requires the applicant to obtain a
Class II permit for an establishment that serves and sells
alcoholic beverages on premise. Currently, this
ordinance consists of notification provisions for potential
establishments that serves and sells alcoholic beverages
on premise, set forth for Special Exception Permits.
Staff recommends that notification provisions shall be
required and set forth for Class II Permits with the
additional requirement that mail notices be sent to all
property owners within a five hundred (500) foot radius of
the subject property in question.

from November 25, 2003.
