Pursuant to Section 401 of Ordinance 11000, as amended, the Zoning Ordinance of the
City of Miami, Florida, the subject proposal to allow a Hiring Hall in the C-1 "Restricted
Commercial Zoning District" has been reviewed as follows:
The following findings have been made:
It is found that the conditional principal use for a Hiring Hall, on this particular site, is
compatible with and will be beneficial to the area by providing a needed service to the
community for those seeking employment opportunities.
• It is found that the proposed use is in scale and character with the surrounding area.
• It is found that the proposed use is an appropriate adaptive re -use of the existing
structure.
• It is found that the proposed layout provides adequate parking and circulation.
• It is found that plans of the existing facades, sign specifications and paint color
samples have not been provided to determine aesthetic impact.
• It is found that with respect to all additional criteria as specified in Section 1305 of
Zoning Ordinance 11000, the proposal has been reviewed and found to be adequate.
Based on these findings, the Planning and Zoning Department is recommending
approval of the application subject to the following condition:
. Plan of the existing facades, signs specifications and paint color samples shall be
submitted for the review and approval by the Planning Department, prior to the
issuance of any Building Permits.
