Civil Engineering Design Services Proposal
Dear Ms. Lopez:
As requested, I am pleased to provide you with this revised proposal for Professional Civil
Engineering Services, concerning the above referenced project.
The scope of work will consist of the following:
• EK will submit written request for utility information (Record as -built, etc.) to the appropriate
utility agencies, including obtaining available records from the City of Miami Department of
Public Works. EK will review the utility data received, combine with the topographic survey
and prepare the engineering base -drawings required for the engineering design.
• EK will design and prepare the necessary construction documents for either Roadway
Reconstruction and Drainage Improvements, technical specifications and a statement of
probable construction cost estimate required within the project area. EK will provide the
required deliverables to the City of Miami Department of Capital Improvements as required.
• Ek will provide assistance to the City during the Bidding and Award of Contract.
• Ek will provide Construction Administration Services which will include occasional site visits
during the construction of the project. Note that this proposal assumed six (6) month of
construction time. Should this time be extended, then additional funds will be required.
EK Is excluding the following from this task order:
• This proposal does not include inspection services during construction.
• This proposal does not include hydraulic analysis, modifications or design of the existing
storm ouffalls and associated secondary storm system, located upstream or downstream of
the project limits.
• This proposal does not include landscaping, irrigation, and street lighting plans.
• In the event a permitting process fee or printing expenses are incurred, such expenses will
be covered as reimbursable expenses.

• This project does not include any overtime hours during construction. Should this be
required, then additional funds will be required.
• This proposal does not include any surveying during construction and/or field laboratory
testing. Should this be required, then additional funds will be required.
The total Lump Sum fee proposed for our basic services is $76,634.00.
