* Miami Assistant City Clerk clarifies Commissioner Allen's error on documents
Regarding your article concerning Commissioner Allen's voter registration, please be aware
that you must have been given an earlier draft of Commissioner Allen's document, which he
corrected the day after his appointment.
Our office caught the error and brought it to his attention, which he corrected right away. I am
attaching a copy of letter from me regarding this subject and I will, under separate e-mail,
forward to you a copy of the corrected document in question. Feel free to call me if you need
additional clarification of this matter.
Sylvi Scheider
Assistant City Clerk
City of Miami
***** Reader's experience with early voting in Florida
Thanks for the coverage; hoping you are well...I know these are exciting times! My entire
family...immediate and extended...voted today at the Leon County Courthouse thanks to the
convenience of early voting...There were 11 of us!
The line was long, but it was worth the wait, and we had a great picnic lunch to celebrate! What
a thrill...now I feel immune to all of those ugly and annoying [campaign] ads! Keep me posted!

***** Note from reader to Col. Letty Bien now serving in Iraq but returning in the future
We miss you very much and look forward to your return. I am sure your husband cannot wait to
be reacquainted with you. After that, you can then jump into Miami Dade
Government. My family thanks you for serving.
