HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-03-1213City of Miami Legislation Resolution: R-03-1213 City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 03-0212 Final Action Date: 12/18/2003 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ACCEPTING THE BIDS OF ARAMSCO AND SENSIR TECHNOLOGIES, FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF ONE HAZMAT CHEMICAL IDENTIFIER AND A PORTABLE HANDHELD CHEMICAL DETECTION MONITORING SYSTEM, WITH OPTIONAL ON -SITE TRAINING OF CITY OF MIAMI PERSONNEL AND AN EXTENDED THREE-YEAR PRODUCT MAINTENANCE PROGRAM, FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF FIRE -RESCUE, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $65,465; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM FIRE -RESCUE HOMELAND DEFENSE PREPAREDNESS BOND PROGRAM PROJECT NO. 313305, ACCOUNT CODE NO. 289307.6.840. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The bids ofAramsco and SenslR Technologies for the procurement of one HazMat chemical identifier and a portable handheld chemical detection monitoring system, with optional on -site training of City of Miami personnel and an extended three-year product maintenance program for the Department of Fire -Rescue, in an amount not to exceed $65,465, are accepted, with funds allocated from Homeland Defense Preparedness Bond Program Project No. 313305, Account Code No. 289307.6.840. Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption and signature of the Mayor. Footnotes: {1 } If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
