A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ACCEPTING THE
RECOMMENDATION OF THE CITY MANAGER REJECTING THE FINDINGS OF
THE EVALUATION COMMITTEE PURSUANT TO REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
("RFP") NO. 02-03-158, FOR FIRMS TO PROVIDE NETWORK BACKBONE
EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI'S
NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE; DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO ISSUE A
NEW RFP.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recommendation of the City Manager rejecting the findings of the Evaluation
Committee pursuant to Request for Proposal ("RFP") No. 02 03-158, for firms to provide network
backbone equipment maintenance services for the City of Miami's network infrastructure, is
accepted
Section 2. The City Manager is directed to issue a new RFP.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature
of the Mayor.{1}
Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall
become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
