I am currently a member of the "HEP" board I would like to continue serving as member under your appointment. The City of Miami's Preservation board consists of strong candidates with backgrounds in architecture, history, law, and preservation. I was the first candidate to be appointed to the board with a background in archaeology. This background experience has helped the board strengthen its position when dealing with matters concerning archaeological and prehistoric sites in the City. I believe it will also help in dealing with important issues the City will face with pending developments in Downtown Miami located near known archaeological sites. Thank you for your consideration. Please call if you have any questions I did not address. Sincerely, Jorge Zamanillo FACSIMILE TRANSMISSIO iILSTORJcAM OF SOmRLoprFLORIDA =.kN CUMBER.
