A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION APPOINTING CERTAIN
INDIVIDUALS AS MEMBERS OF THE EQUAL OPPORTUNITY ADVISORY
BOARD FOR TERMS AS DESIGNATED HEREIN.

Albena Sumner Commissioner Angel Gonzalez
Charles J. Flowers Vice -Chairman Arthur Teele
Section 1. The individuals listed above are hereby appointed as members of the Equal
Opportunity Advisory Board, each to serve an unexpired term ending February 8, 2004, or until the
nominating Commissioner leaves office, whichever occurs first.
Section 2. The attendance requirements of Section 2-886 of the Code of the City of Miami,
Florida, as amended, are hereby waived by a four/fifths vote of the members of the full City
Commission, as said requirements relate to the past absences on record for Charles J. Flowers
and Albena Sumner.

Board appointments are administrative acts which do not require
the Mayor's signature nor the City Attorney's review and approval.
