A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
RELATED TO A SOCCER MATCH BETWEEN THE TEAMS OF HAITI AND
HONDURAS TO BE HELD AT THE ORANGE BOWL STADIUM, NOVEMBER 16,
2003, PRESENTED BY CARIBBEAN SOCCER NETWORK, INC.; AUTHORIZING
A USER FEE CAP IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000 FOR SAID EVENT;
CONDITIONING SAID AUTHORIZATION UPON THE ORGANIZERS: (1)
OBTAINING ALL PERMITS REQUIRED BY LAW; (2) PAYING ALL NECESSARY
COSTS FOR CITY SERVICES AND APPLICABLE FEES ASSOCIATED WITH
SAID EVENT; (3) OBTAINING INSURANCE TO PROTECT THE CITY IN THE
AMOUNT AS PRESCRIBED BY THE CITY MANAGER; AND (4) COMPLYING
WITH ALL CONDITIONS AND LIMITATIONS AS MAY BE PRESCRIBED BY THE
CITY MANAGER; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A USE
AGREEMENT, IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE ATTACHED FORM, FOR SAID
PURPOSE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. A User Fee cap, in the amount of $5,000, is authorized for the soccer match
between the teams of Haiti and Honduras to be held at the Orange Bowl Stadium on
November 16, 2003, presented by Caribbean Soccer Network, Inc., conditioned upon the
organizers (1) obtaining all permits required by law; (2) paying all necessary costs for City
services and applicable fees associated with said event, (3) obtaining insurance to protect
the City in the amount as prescribed by the City Manager; and (4) complying with all
conditions and limitations as may be prescribed by the City Manager.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized(1) to execute a Use Agreement, in
substantially the attached form, for said purpose.
Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and
signature of the Mayor.(2)

{1 }The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be
imposed by the City Attorney, including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable City
Charter and Code provisions.
{2} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall
become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
