HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-03-1146City of Miami Legislation Resolution: R-03-1146 City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 03-0204 Final Action Date: 11/13/2003 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S), APPROVING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A PRE -QUALIFIED LIST COMPRISED OF ONE (1) PROPOSER, AS LISTED ON "EXHIBIT A," ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED, FOR THE PROVISION OF COMMUNICATIONS OPERATOR SERVICES FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF POLICE, ON AN AS -NEEDED CONTRACT BASIS, FOR A PERIOD OF TWO YEARS WITH THE OPTION TO EXTEND FOR TWO ADDITIONAL ONE-YEAR PERIODS, IN AN ANNUAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $50,000; AUTHORIZING THE INCLUSION OF ADDITIONAL QUALIFIERS AS DEEMED APPROPRIATE BY THE CITY MANAGER; FURTHER, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT(S), IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE ATTACHED FORM, WITH SAID PROVIDER(S); AND ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE POLICE DEPARTMENT GENERAL OPERATING BUDGET, ACCOUNT CODE NO. 001000.290201.6.270, FOR SAID SERVICES. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The establishment of a pre -qualified list comprised of one (1) proposer, as listed on "Exhibit A", attached and incorporated, for the provision of Communications Operator Services for the Department of Police, on an as -needed contract basis, for a period of two years with the option to extend for two additional one-year periods, in an annual amount not to exceed $50,000, with funds allocated from the Police Department General Operating Budget, Account Code No. 001000.290201.6.270, for said services. Section 2. authorized. The inclusion of additional qualifiers as deemed appropriate by the City Manager is Section 3. The City Manager is authorized{1} to execute an agreement(s), in substantially the attached form, with said provider(s). Section 4. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
