A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
APPROVING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A PRE -QUALIFIED LIST COMPRISED OF
ONE (1) PROPOSER, AS LISTED ON "EXHIBIT A," ATTACHED AND
INCORPORATED, FOR THE PROVISION OF COMMUNICATIONS OPERATOR
SERVICES FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF POLICE, ON AN AS -NEEDED CONTRACT
BASIS, FOR A PERIOD OF TWO YEARS WITH THE OPTION TO EXTEND FOR
TWO ADDITIONAL ONE-YEAR PERIODS, IN AN ANNUAL AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $50,000; AUTHORIZING THE INCLUSION OF ADDITIONAL QUALIFIERS
AS DEEMED APPROPRIATE BY THE CITY MANAGER; FURTHER, AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT(S), IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE
ATTACHED FORM, WITH SAID PROVIDER(S); AND ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM
THE POLICE DEPARTMENT GENERAL OPERATING BUDGET, ACCOUNT CODE
NO. 001000.290201.6.270, FOR SAID SERVICES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The establishment of a pre -qualified list comprised of one (1) proposer, as listed on
"Exhibit A", attached and incorporated, for the provision of Communications Operator Services for the
Department of Police, on an as -needed contract basis, for a period of two years with the option to
extend for two additional one-year periods, in an annual amount not to exceed $50,000, with funds
allocated from the Police Department General Operating Budget, Account Code No.
001000.290201.6.270, for said services.
Section 2.

attached form, with said provider(s).
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{2}

Footnotes:
{1} The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be
imposed by the City Attorney, including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter
and Code provisions.
{2} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
