HomeMy WebLinkAboutLegislationF �� City of Miami City Hall ,4'' �`"µ' l Y� 3500 Pan American �.; Drive e• Legislation Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com Resolution File Number: 10-01027 Final Action Date: A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S), APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE DEPARTMENT OF OFF-STREET PARKING, IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,393,360 EXCLUDING DEPRECIATION, TO PROVIDE FOR THE OPERATION OF THE GUSMAN CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS AND THE OLYMPIA BUILDING, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 2010 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2011. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 8435 was adopted by the City Commission on July 31, 1975, authorizing the Off -Street Parking Board of the City of Miami to administer the facility now known as Gusman Center for the Performing Arts and the Olympia Office Building; and WHEREAS, a budget is required in order to properly administer the facility; and WHEREAS, the budget of the Department of Off -Street Parking ("DOSP") for Fiscal Year 2010- 2011 to operate the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts has been reviewed by the Off -Street Parking Board and found to be acceptable; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are hereby adopted by reference and incorporated as is fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. DOSP'S Annual Budget, in the amount of $1,393,360, excluding depreciation, attached and incorporated, to provide for the operation of the Gusman Center for the Performing Arts and the Olympia Building, commencing October 1, 2010 and ending September 30, 2011, is approved and adopted. Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.{1} APPROVED AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS: JULIE O.
