BACKGROUND
The City of Miami Purchasing Department issued IFB No. 223231 for Holiday Tree and
Accessories, Storage, Set-up and Breakdown for the Bayfront Park Management Trust (Trust) on
June 21, 2010. One (1) bid was received by the July 9, 2010, deadline. CDI Enterprises, LLC,
(CDI) was deemed the responsive bidder. The Trust at its September 28, 2010, board meeting
approved the selection of CDI and the full contract term cost of $128,940.00 ($18,420.00
annually) for the set-up, breakdown, storage, insurance and yearly light bulb replacement of the
Trust's holiday tree. Funds for this service are available from the Bayfront Park Management
Trust Operating Budget. The Bayfront Park Management Trust and the Executive Director of
the Trust recommend that the bid received from CDI Enterprises, LLC, be accepted as the lowest
responsive and responsible bid.
