HomeMy WebLinkAboutLegislationA RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED PURSUANT TO INVITATION FOR BID NO. 223231, FROM CDI ENTERPRISES, LLC, FOR THE SET-UP, BREAKDOWN AND STORAGE OF THE BAYFRONT PARK MANAGEMENT TRUST ("TRUST") HOLIDAY TREE, IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $128,940; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE TRUST'S OPERATING BUDGET. WHEREAS, the City of Miami Purchasing Department issued Invitation for Bid ("IFB") No. 223231, for the "Holiday Tree and Accessories, Storage, Setup and Breakdown for the Bayfront Park Management Trust" ("Trust") on June 21, 2010; and WHEREAS, CDI Enterprises, LLC, was deemed the lowest responsive and responsible bidder pursuant to IFB No. 223231, in the total amount of $128,940 ($18,420 annually), for the contract term of five (5) years, plus an option of one (1) additional two (2) year period; and WHEREAS, the scope of service includes set-up, breakdown, storage, insurance and yearly light bulb replacement; and WHEREAS, the Trust, at its board meeting held on September 28, 2010, approved the selection of CDI Enterprises, LLC, as the service provider.- NOW, rovider;NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The bid received pursuant to IFB No. 223231, from CDI Enterprises, LLC., for the set-up, breakdown and storage of the Trust holiday tree, is accepted, in the total amount not to exceed $128,940, with funds allocated from the Trust's Operating Budget.
