Purpose of Item:
A Resolution authorizing the City Manager to accept a donation of various street improvements along
Southeast 12`h Street, from 1111 Brickell Office, LLC, to include a traffic circle at the intersection of
Brickell Bay Drive and Southeast 12`h Street, raised curb and landscaped areas, and signage.
Background Information:
1111 Brickell Office, LLC, initiated improvements along Southeast 12th Street in order to improve
traffic flow, pedestrian safety and sight distance. As part of these improvements, 1111 Brickell
Office, LLC has agreed to fully fund and construct a traffic circle at the intersection of Brickell Bay
Drive and Southeast 12th Street in order to help control speeds on Brickell Bay Drive, as well as!
improve the pedestrian environment with crosswalks at the intersection. The improvements will also
include raised curb and landscaped areas, as well as signage. The City has agreed to assume
maintenance of these improvements, which will be performed in-house by Public Works personnel.
