Dixie Highway Support of Rezoning and Land Use Applications Dear Members, I would like to express my support of the European Automotive facility which is located at 3850 S. Dixie Highway in Miami. European Automotive is a good neighbor, and have operated for many years without incident. Due to the unique nature of the business and the present site configuration of the facility it is necessary to allow the auto uses to continue in the rear of the property. We do not believe that doing so will pose a burden to the City or surrounding neighbors. I encourage each of you to vote to approve the requested land use and zoning applications. Thompson City Clerk Max Strang 4080 Douglas Road Coconut Grove, FL 33133 'DO May 5, 201 To Whom It May Concern: As a Coconut Grove resident and a GEM owner, I support European Automotive's application for a zoning change related to the 3825 Day Avenue property. I'm especially supportive of a shift from fossil fuels to cleaner, renewable energy sources which this zoning change can enable. I made the decision to purchase an electric vehicle two years ago and have already logged 2,000 miles driving around the Grove alone, While I have no business or personal relationship with the applicant, I am pleased to see that European Automotive is poised to bring these new technologies to our local audience. I recognize that this portion of Day Avenue is a street on which one can find both residential and commercial uses. I would encourage European Automotive to develop in the property in a manner that minimizes the commercial appearance while respecting nearby residential properties.
