ENCLOSURES:
In the interest of maintaining continuity of work and to avoid undue additional costs, it was
determined to be in the City's best interest to allow NAC Construction, Inc. to perform additional
work deemed necessary and performed for the "Fire Station No. 11 Improvements Project, B-
60452," (Project) due to owner requested changes, design errors and omissions, and additional

We recommend that the City Commission concur to waive the formal requirements set forth in the
Code of the City of Miami, as amended, in Section 18-85, and under Florida Statutes Section
255.0525 and 255.20, and affirm and adopt these findings, in order to increase the award value and
retroactively authorize the additional work.
Approval has also been requested for additional owner contingency, in the not to exceed
amount of $75,000, for resolution of outstanding issues.
This Amendment No. 2 would thus increase the award amount by $79,796.64, for a total not to
exceed award amount of $3,854,196.64.

value of $3,774,400, for additional work due to the unforeseen conditions.
