Purpose of Item: To request approval of the attached resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement for Water & Sanitary Sewage Services with WASD for the Gibson Park Project, B -30305B. Background Information: The City of Miami (City) intends to renovate the existing Gibson Park located at 350 NW 130 Street. The City intends to construct and connect a public park with showers and restroom facilities, a public swimming pool facility, and a one thousand five hundred seat stadium representing an average daily gallonage of 7,000 gallons. The increase in the estimated capacity needed for the project based on the agreed average daily gallonage is 4,125 gallons, resulting in combined water and sewer connection charges in the amount of $28,833.75. Additionally, the City must pay a water main construction connection charge jer front foot of its property which will directly abut a 12 inch water main to be installed in NW 3' Avenue. The length of front footage which will abut the water main is 339 feet, resulting in a construction connection charge in the amount of $10,170.
