Start Up Capital Cost: Maintenance Cost: Total Fiscal Impact: CIP If using or receiving capital funds Grants Purchasing Chief Final Approvals (SIGN AND DATE) Budget Risk Dept, City Page 1 of 1 AGENDA ITEM SUMMARY FORM CONTINUED Background Information: Pursuant to Resolution No. 10-0263, adopted June 21, 2010, the Miami City Commission approved the allocation of 36th program year 2010-2011 CDBG funds in the amount of $1,342,634 in the Public Service category. Pursuant to Resolution No. 10-0307, adopted July 8, 2010, the Miami City Commission approved the change in the start of City of Miami Department of Community Development's ("CD") fiscal year effective April 1, 2011. CD had previously allocated CDBG funds, in the amount of $1,342,634, in the public service category to various agencies based on 12 months allocation and due to said change, Resolution No. 10-0263 has been amended to reflect new allocations based on 6 months program year with a 9 month contract term in order to align with the new fiscal year. The Administration recommends the amended allocation of 36th Program Year CDBG funds, in the amount of $1,342,634, in the Public Service category, to the agencies specified in Attachment "A," attached and incorporated, for Public Service activities beginning October 1, 2010 and ending June 30, 2011.
