("Centennial") for the space located at 1251 NW 36 Street, used by Internal Affairs ("IA"), ends on August 31, 2010. As such, the City provided notice to Centennial of its intent to vacate the premises by August 31, 2010 (see attached letter). Recently, the Asset Management Division received information indicating that the Police department is interested in pursuing a new lease with Centennial. Therefore, pursuant to this request, the Asset Management Division has contacted Centennial and has negotiated the following terms for a possible new lease: Term: September 1, 2010 to August 31, 2011 Options to Renew: None. Rent: $18,000/annually ($1,500/mo) Utilities: Police department pays for electricity and phone Kindly indicate your approval, or denial, so that we may know whether to proceed with the necessary legislation for the September 9, 2010 City Commission meeting.
