DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES IN THE 36TH PROGRAM YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2010
AND ENDING MARCH 31, 2011; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE
AMENDED AGREEMENT(S), IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE ATTACHED FORM(S), WITH SAID
AGENCIES, FOR SAID PURPOSE.

Background Information:
Pursuant to Resolution No. 10-0260, adopted June 21, 2010, the Miami City Commission approved
the allocation of 36th program year 2010-2011 CDBG funds in the amount of $2,304,039 in the
Economic Development category.
Pursuant to Resolution No. 10-0307, adopted July 8, 2010, the Miami City Commission approved the
change in the start of City of Miami Department of Community Development's ("CD") fiscal year
effective April 1, 2011.
CD had previously allocated CDBG funds, in the Economic Development category, to the agencies
specified in Attachment "A", attached and incorporated, based on 12 months allocation and due to
said change, Resolution No. 10-0260 has been amended to reflect new allocations based on 6
months in order to align with the new fiscal year.
the Administration recommends the amended allocation of 36th Program Year CDBG funds, in the
amount of $2,304,039, in the Economic Development category, to the agencies specified in
Attachment "A," attached and incorporated, for economic development activities in the 36th Program
Year beginning October 1, 2010 and ending March 31, 2011.
