FINDINGS FOR WAIVER OF COMPETITIVE BIDDING PROCEDURES TO
AUTHORIZE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR THE STADIUM SITE
PARKING PROJECT, B-30648

The Miami City Commission will hold a Public Hearing on July 22, 2010 beginning at 9:00 a.m. to
consider whether it is in the public's best interest that the City Commission ratify, approve and confirm
the findings of the City Manager justifying the waiver of competitive bidding procedures to authorize
professional environmental services, in the amount of $151,455, for a Health and Human Risk
Assessment and Soil Management Plan Preparation and Implementation Services, to Bureau Veritas
North America, Inc., further authorizing an agreement for the prospective portion of the work, in the
amount of $126,692, for the Stadium Site Parking Project, B-30648.
The Public Hearing will be held in conjunction with the regularly scheduled City Commission meeting of
July 22, 2010 at:
MIAMI CITY HALL
3500 Pan American Drive
Miami, Florida
All interested persons may appear at the meeting and may be heard with respect to the proposed issue.
Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter to be
considered at this meeting, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made
including all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based (F.S. 286.0105).
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special accommodations
