A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ACCEPTING THE BID
RECEIVED MARCH 12, 2010, PURSUANT TO INVITATION FOR BID NO. 177145,
FROM IPA CORPORATION, THE LOWEST RESPONSIVE AND RESPONSIBLE
BIDDER, FOR THE PURCHASE OF FIRE -RESCUE UNIFORMS AND SAFETY
SHOES, ON AN AS -NEEDED CONTRACTUAL BASIS, FOR AN INITIAL
CONTRACT PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR, WITH THE OPTION TO RENEW FOR
FOUR (4) ADDITIONAL ONE-YEAR PERIODS; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE
VARIOUS SOURCES OF FUNDS FROM THE USER DEPARTMENTS, SUBJECT
TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS AND BUDGETARY APPROVAL AT THE TIME
OF NEED.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received March 12, 2010, pursuant to Invitation for Bid No. 177145, from IPA
Corporation, for the purchase of Fire -Rescue Uniforms and Safety Shoes, on an as -needed
contractual basis, for an initial contract period of one (1) year, with the option to renew for four (4)
additional one (1) year periods, is accepted, with funds allocated from the various sources of funds
from the user departments, subject to the availability of funds and budgetary approval at the time of
need.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor. {1}

Footnotes:
{1) If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days
from the date it was passed and adopted. if the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
