Add acoustical noise barrier with SoundfighterO system LSE2000 UP TO 8' above flood level in height, groin edge of pool deck to the western edge of existing block wall w/stucco finish, which will be demolished and replaced by the new noise barrier 2. Close off north side of covered parking under pool deck to prevent from sound and light pollution. Construction of 8' block wall up to bottom of slab with stucco and paint finish. 3. Place heavy shrub planting along north side of the pool deck to act as a visual screen. 4. Placement of creeping landscape to mask the back wall of the pool structure and "her screen this facade. 5. Design of a planter at third level with tall shrub screening the back of bleachers. 6. Placement of sound absorbent finish treatment, on the wall and underside of concrete canopy and bleachers. I r -D INTV R ARD FOR ON_ -71 EXHIBIT "C" City Commission Modification of PZAB Adopted Conditions: Outdoor athletic facilities (including the pool, tennis courts and athletic field) shall conclude no later than 10:30 P.M. unless required by the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) or USA Swimming and Water Polo Association; and 1 No music at outdoor athletic events except for 45 minutes before Friday night games; 3. No outdoor athletic activity shall be allowed on Sunday (pools, athletic field, tennis courts) except the middle school picnic once per year and the programs referenced below in #5. Ransom shall provide advanced notice to Camp Biscayne Homeowners Association when the picnic is scheduled. 4. No outdoor athletic activity, or live or amplified music and announcing which is not conducted indoors, shall be allowed on Saturday (pools, athletic field, tennis courts), except between 10 AM and 3 PM unless an officially sanctioned school athletic event has not ended by 3 PM. Ransom may hold no more than five (5) community outreach programs per year on weekends (Saturday or Sunday) on its outdoor athletic venues (pools, athletic field, tennis courts). Ransom shall provide advanced notice to Carnp Biscayne Homeowners Association when a community outreach event is scheduled. 6. Ransom shall ensure that all outdoor speakers will be redirected, using its best efforts to contain on campus the amplified sound from its outdoor athletic facilities. Ransom shall consult with its sound expert to design speaker locations on its athletic field to produce the minimal sound levels needed for athletic events and to contain on campus as much amplified sound as possible. Ransom shall not allow faculty, coaches or students to blow whistles prior to 8 AM on weekdays (Monday through Friday). 8. Ransom shall make the following non -substantial modifications to its aquatic center plans: a. Install a solid gate on the northeast drive behind the aquatic center bleachers to prevent automobile headlights from shining east on to the athletic field-, b. Enclose the open parking area under the aquatic center bleachers on the northeast comer to reduce the potential for light and noise projecting onto the athletic field. If permanent enclosure is not permissible by the City, then landscaping or lattice with landscaping shall be installed; c. Ensure that the windows of the fitness center under the aquatic center are equipped with blinds sufficient to block interior lights in the evening; MIA 181,346,47Ov2 INT"THE U- FOR U B L I C R 1E rV 0 R ON - r d. Ensure that the pool lights over the canopy covering the bleachers are directed toward the pool and installed so as to minimize spillover light-, e. Remove existing speakers from east side of gymnasium or only use them for emergency purposes. 9. The operational conditions I — 7 above shall be implemented immediately after Ransom obtains a final and non -appealable Class 11 permit (i.e., after the end of the appeal period (30 -days) or the conclusion of any and all appeals if filed).
