Bids were opened on December 2, 2008. On January 13, 2009, the Board during its regular meeting rendered its decision to post the notice of intent and to award the bid to various vendors immediately following the 72 -hour posting period provided no protest is filed. Attached hereto is a Bid Recommendation for Bid No. 08109-3. The decision of the Board is final. Failure to file a protest within the time prescribed in Section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes, shall constitute a waiver of proceedings under Chapter 120, Florida Statutes. All bids are based upon the % discount offered for products and service. This bid is also a means for qualifying vendors for Ball Park lighting services. Qualifying vendors will be requested to provide pricing on a project by project basis. The qualified vendor providing the lowest responsive quote will be awarded the project. This bid provides playground equipment, amenities and lighting for the Oakleaf Athletic Complex, Fleming Island Athletic Complex, Moccasin Slough Park and all other parks in Clay County.
