Allocating funds from the various sources of funds from the user departments and agencies, authorizing said services as needed, subject to availability of funds and budgetary approval at the time of need. Information: The City of Miami has a need to procure Recycling Containers. On March 26, 2010, the Purchasing Department issued an Invitation for Bid (IFB No. 176148). As required by the Procurement Code, the IFB was advertised and issued online. On April 14, 2010, at the bid opening, four (4) bids were submitted and are tabulated. The Purchasing Department is recommending award to Orbis Corporation, the lowest responsive and responsible bidder per bid specifications. The estimated annual contract amount is $27,120.
