1 am the President of the Lemon City Taxpayers Association. Our association
consists of business owners, property owners and residents in Lemon City and
Little Haiti. We strongly support the Morningside Civic Association and their
desire to limit the height of high rises on Biscayne Boulevard. We
particularly protest any potential high rises east of Biscayne Boulevard that exceed 85
or 95 feet. In fact, in most cases we feel even 85 feet and 95 feet is too
high and not compatible with the neighborhood. Again, we support the
Morningside Civic Association.

We, the Buena Vista East Historic Neighborhood Association are in support of
the Morningside Civic Association's opposition to allowing high-rise buildings
adjacent to the single-family homes of Morningside. Please reject this
inappropriate growth and protect Miami's historic neighborhoods from being
walled in by modern towers. Also, please consider the impact these developments
have on the quality of life of these communities in terms of increased traffic,
parking and use of other public facilities, which are already underfunded and in
poor shape. Thank you,
Wendy Stephan

Dear Commisssioners and Mayor Diaz
The Cocoanut Grove Village Council strongly supports the Morningside Homeowners Assn. in their desire to respect the scale
and context of their single family residential Historic Neighborhood. To allow four ten towering buildings of some 100feet to be
placed next to single story single family homes without transitional buffers is not your expressed vision for Miami 2100 and is
contrary to our current Master plan.
Our most viable and in this case also beautiful single family neighborhoods are being walled in one -by -one. Without the
protection of our elected officials these neighborhoods will lose their identity, not to mention ruining the quality of life of the
residents. We strongly support our neighbors in Morningside and we expect you will be championing and protecting your
constituents.
