Rev. Dennis M. Jackson II is the Senior Pastor of New Mount Moriah Missionary
Baptist Church located at 6700 NW 14 Ave in Miami, Florida and the immediate past
President of the African American Council of Christian Clergy.
Rev. Jackson accepted Christ as a teenager while attending the New Way Fellowship
Baptist Church. The Lord called Rev. Jackson to the gospel ministry in May 23, 2002
and he was ordained on December 21, 2003. Rev. Jackson is well versed in the areas of
evangelism, pastoral counseling and youth ministry.
Rev. Jackson was educated in Miami -Dade County public school system and is a
graduate of Miami Norland Sr. High School. Rev. Jackson went on to further his
education by receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from
Bethune-Cookman College. Rev. Jackson has also received credits toward a double
Masters degree in Religion and Counseling at Trinity International University.
Rev. Jackson is a sixteen year veteran of the City of Miami Police Department. He is
presently a Police Sergeant in -charge of the Property Unit where he safeguards an
estimated $10 million in assets. Rev. Jackson is also the Past President of Miami
Community Police Benevolent Association. Rev. Jackson holds the distinct honor of
becoming assigned to the highly prestigious Economic Crimes Detail and is currently
consulted on for complex financial investigations. As a police detective, Rev. Jackson
restored many families and businesses by offering hope through Christ to crime victims.
Rev. Jackson is a former educator in the Miami -Dade County Public School System and
served as an administrator at Jan Mann Opportunity School.
Rev. Jackson is real estate broker and a mortgage broker. He owns and operates with his
wife Dennis M. Jackson II, Realty where he finds pleasure in helping to fulfill the real
estate and mortgage needs of his clients.
Rev. Jackson is married to Tanya Jackson his wife of 16 years and is the father of three,
Princess, Malik, and Dennis III. Rev. Jackson is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi
Fraternity, Inc. He enjoys reading, preaching, listening to preaching, riding his
motorcycle, and barbequing.
