Purpose of Item: It is respectfully recommended that the Miami City Commission adopt the attached resolution authorizing a change order to Bid Contract No. 191150, for Tree and Palm Relocations, awarded to Tip Top Enterprises, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $96,800, increasing the total contract for additional City requested services in a not to exceed amount from $128,640 to $225,440 for the Department of Parks and Recreation. Allocating funds from Capital Improvement Project No. 40- B30153J, Award 1496, Sunshine State Loan, Marlins Stadium Redevelopment Project. Background Information: The Department of Parks and Recreation recommends approval of said resolution, authorizing a change order in the amount of $96,800 to Tip Top Enterprises, Inc. with respect to additional proposed services by the City regarding the relocation of numerous trees to new sites, including public right-of-ways, not part of the original scope of Bid Contract No. 191150.
