Z 0 WHEREAS, on January 14, 2010, the Miami City Commission adopted Resolution No. 10-0009, accepting the bid received November 24, 2009, pursuant to Invitation for Bids No. 191150, from Tip Top Enterprises, Inc., for Tree and Palm Relocations, from the Marlins Stadium Site to Various Municipal Parks, for a short-term period, for the Department of Parks and Recreation, for a total contract amount not to exceed $128,640; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10-0009, the City Manager has produced and collaborated with District 3 Commissioner, Frank Carollo, a tree relocation plan, which has been subsequently approved by Commissioner Frank Carollo; and WHEREAS, the tree relocation plan approval requires additional City of Miami ("City") requested services to be performed by the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Tip Top Enterprises, Inc., and WHEREAS, the additional City requested services were not part of the original scope of work and will result in an increase to the contract in an amount not to exceed $96,800, thereby increasing the total contract amount from $128,640 to an amount not to exceed $225,440; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA; Section 1.
