Car Allowance $800 per month Cellular Phone Allowance $200 per month Insurance HealthNision/Dental Executive Benefit Plan Life 2X Annual Salary Accidental Death & Dismemberment 2X Annual Salary Insurance Disability Insurance In the event that a disability plan is offered to the other City executives, the City Clerk shall have the right to negotiate for a similar benefit. Executive Physical One annual physical Leave Time . Vacation ; 35 days. per year Sick 12 days per year Earned Personal Leave 2 days per year Holidays 11 days per year Upon honorable separation, City Clerk shall receive payment of all Vacation and Sick leave earned as of the Effective Date of this Contract. Vacation & Sick time earned after the Effective Date of this Contract which is not utilized during the Term shall have no "cash value." Such Vacation and Sick time shall be available on a use -it - or -lose -it basis over the duration of the Term. Severance The City Commission reserves its right to terminate its relationship with the City Clerk by an official act of the Commission, without cause shown, prior to the expiration of the Term, in which event the City Clerk shall receive a fixed sum for compensation and forbearance, in amount equivalent to (4) four months pay. The City Clerk shall receive a fixed sum in an amount equivalent to (4) four months pay for services rendered if she is not re-elected to the position of City Clerk at the expiration of her Term of office. The City Clerk shall not receive any severance if she is terminated for neglect of duty, misfeasance, or malfeasance, or if she voluntarily resigns. Deferred Compensation Employer contributes maximum allowed by law. In the event that the city discontinues or otherwise modifies the Deferred Compensation plan offered to city executives or similar employees in the City of Miami, then the City Clerk's Deferred Compensation shall be adjusted to be consistent with such discontinuance or modification(s).
